The Battle of Bugs: A Gray Lady-Bug and a Brown Recluse Spider's Showdown on the Couch

After showing my husband a gray lady-bug, he motioned to me that there was a dangerous brown recluse spider on our couch. It has a large body, the size on a half-dollar with smaller legs. I set the lady-bug down on the couch, thinking it would dispatch the spider, but the spider after seeing the lady-bug take two steps towards it, ate the lady-bug in one bite. I then left and my husband later said he put the spider outside, despite the fact that he is afraid of spiders. I was surprised he didn't kill it. I was not happy about that as I felt it would create more spiders.
The dream could symbolize feelings of fear or anxiety about something in your life. The gray ladybug could represent something small and insignificant that you thought would help solve a problem, but it didn't work out. Alternatively, the ladybug could be a metaphor for how you feel helpless and powerless in a situation. The large, dangerous spider could represent a real threat or problem in your life that seems to be getting bigger and more out of control. Alternatively, the spider could be a metaphor for something sinister or lurking beneath the surface. The fact that your husband put the spider outside instead of killing it could symbolize his decision to take a more passive approach to the problem, which upsets you because you feel it's only going to make the situation worse.
